For me, a Chinese, peanut plays a vital role in our food and I do not know the reason why American people are peanut allergy. However, I have learned from American movies and sitcoms, for instance, Howard Wolowitz in Big Bang Theory is allergic to peanuts, and I cannot image that peanuts have such bad effect to human and almost kill him. Maybe it is exaggerated, but it is true that 90% death caused by food allergies is caused by peanuts. The peanut allergy symptom include: low blood pressure, swelling of the face the throat, which will hinder breathing and lead to shock. People who are allergic to peanuts cannot take any peanut even peanut oil.

Peanut allergy have worse impact to children, considering most food contain peanut or peanut oil, parents should pay more attention to their children. If you children are allergic to peanuts, it is necessary and urgent to tell more people about it, especially teacher and doctors and also let children develop good eating habits.
